Meet Hussein Abdulameer, DDS
Dr. Hussein Abdulameer is dedicated to creating and restoring beautiful and healthy smiles for all of his patients. A cosmetic dentist who is highly regarded for his depth and breadth of knowledge that specializes in a full range of dental procedures, including dental implants and clear aligner therapy. He began his dental studies in Ukraine, where he earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). Then he moved to the United States and attended Indiana University School of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS). At Indiana University, where he was recognized by the Dental Student Progress Committee for his outstanding clinical performance.
Dr. Hussein practiced dentistry for a few years in the Tampa Bay Area, where he worked in high-end dentistry practice. Before moving to Tampa, he lived in New Hampshire, Boston, and Indiana. He is blessed to call Florida home now.
Dr. Hussein has taken many steps to improve his dental skills, such as postdoctoral continuing education courses, annual conferences, and local study groups. He is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Florida Dental Association (FDA), Pinellas County Dental Association (PCDA), and The International Dental Implant Association (IDIA). These associations offer him professional development opportunities to keep him up to date with the newest dental practices and the latest technology. He goes to great lengths to provide his patients with a pain-free dental experience resulting in confident, healthy smiles.
Dr. Hussein is looking forward to meeting new patients and getting to know the Plant City community. He is pleased to be here, and his knowledge of dentistry and attention to detail will be appreciated.
Dr. Hussein’s passions are not limited to dentistry; he enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, listening to music, swimming, and spending time with his family.
April Ferry
Dental Hygienist
April’s dental background began in 1996 while she was a senior in high school. She started working at a local dental practice where she did scheduling and assisted the doctors for many procedures including periodontal surgery. After graduation, April continued to work in the dental field while obtaining her AA degree from Hillsborough Community College and expanded duties certificate from Nova Southeastern College.
After working as a main hygiene assistant for 4 years, April discovered her true passion for dentistry lay in preventative care. Excited to specialize in this area, she furthered her education at Valencia Community College, earning an A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene in 2004. Since then, April has dedicated her career to being a dental hygienist, a role that brings her immense satisfaction and fulfillment. She loves it!
In 2014, April joined our practice, and we are grateful to have her as an integral part of our team. Born and raised in Plant City, she values her community and actively participates in her church. In her leisure time, she cherishes moments with her loved ones, both family and friends. April considers it a blessing to work alongside her family in our practice. She and her partner, Michael, experienced another source of joy in June 2017 with the arrival of their pride and joy, Caiden. We are delighted to have April’s expertise and genuine passion for dentistry as part of our team.
Ann Norton
Treatment Coordinator
Ann, our dedicated Treatment Coordinator, has been an integral part of our team and worked in the dental field since 1978. With a wealth of experience and ongoing education, Ann has honed her skills under the guidance of exceptional dentists throughout her career. She has excelled in various support and management roles, however, Ann is happiest in her role as Treatment Coordinator with Inspired Dentistry.
Known for her compassionate approach, Ann treats our patients like family, ensuring they receive the utmost care and attention. Her genuine concern for their well-being is cherished by both our team and our patients. Outside of the office, Ann finds joy in spending time with her grandson and creating lasting memories with her wonderful parents and friends.
Kelsey Kierce
Receptionist
Kelsey, a member of our dental team serving as a receptionist. She is a young individual with an old soul. Family time holds a special place in her heart, along with her beloved dog companion, Phoenix. When not immersed in the dental world, Kelsey finds solace in the pages of a captivating book, expressing her creativity through various art forms, savoring the sounds of music, and channeling her inner organizer by tidying up whatever comes her way.
With a rich background spanning over two years in the dental field, Kelsey has discovered her passion and thrives in this rewarding profession. Prior to her dental journey, she dedicated several years to caring for the elderly in assisted living, showcasing her compassionate nature and commitment to others.
With her youthful energy, mature mindset, and diverse experiences, Kelsey brings a unique blend of enthusiasm, empathy, and professionalism to her role. She cherishes the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their dental journey.

Mandy Velasquez
Dental Assistant
Mandy, a valuable member of our dental team serving as a Dental Assistant. With a career spanning back to 2004, Mandy’s dental journey commenced during her dedicated service in the United States Navy. Relocating from Las Vegas to Tampa alongside her three cherished children, Lilly, Jacob, and Ilana, Mandy exhibits both commitments to her family and adaptability to new environments.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Mandy finds solace and joy in various activities. Whether she’s engrossed in a captivating book, basking in the sun at the beach, or maintaining her fitness routine at the gym, Mandy prioritizes personal well-being and a balanced lifestyle.
Passionate about her work, Mandy thrives in the realm of dentistry, reveling in the opportunity to assist patients and engage in all aspects of dental care. Her genuine enthusiasm and extensive experience make her an invaluable asset in providing exceptional dental service.

Rebecca Gilmore
Dental Assistant
Rebecca, a valuable member of our dental team serving as a Dental Assistant, was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. She graduated from Durant High School in 2002. Seeking her career in dentistry, she attended Erwin Technical Center where she earned her certification as a registered dental assistant with expanded functions, worked for 6 years as an endodontic assistant in Brandon, She has been in the practice for many years.
Rebecca is married to Patrick and spends every spare moment with the joys of her life, Ryleigh and Trent. We are glad to have her as part of our team.
